DREAMS DON'T WORK UNLESS YOU DO!

So it’s back to work and a routine – sometimes a good thing actually!

2020 has started with a flurry of new projects both with Home Styling and Drapery jobs. The Real Estate market is busy once more and Home Styling is key to presenting your home in it’s best light. Placement of furniture, the proportions in the room, colour, warmth, texture, detailing and extra finishing touches for an inviting welcome to potential buyers.

Thinking of selling?
I’m here and happy to assist.

Staying put?
Doesn’t mean you can’t start fresh or change things up a bit. Updating drapery, blinds or furniture, can make a huge difference to the look and feel of your home. The addition of cushions, artworks or a mirror can be just the boost you need. Or maybe you are just a bit sick of the same old, same old and want to move some spaces around but don’t know where to start.
That’s where I come in! Looking at things with fresh eyes and a different perspective, to implement positive change.

We took a little road trip over the holidays and came back with a few new bits and pieces for our kitchen. Both my partner and I love collecting new items on our travels to mix up with existing pieces. Pussy Willows or “Bunny Tails” gathered from a very windy and wild Castlepoint.

A glass dome from Carterton, and another from Tirau. Fresh Walnuts from Featherston and Honey from Greytown, sitting along side an antique rolling pin picked up earlier from a second hand shop. Styling is about putting pieces that you love together, and creating your “story” that puts a smile on your face each day!

Mix organic / sculptural elements, horizontal and vertical pieces at various heights, and layer.
